Science, Reason, Faith

UPDATE!!!

When I first started this website, my blog and my Newsletter were one and the same. I used this section of my website to write articles, and to share thoughts and content with my fans.

Now that GreenSlugg has grown, I still plan to write a few blog posts here and there as I go, but overall this blog page will be taking a backseat to my Email Newsletter, Medium Profile and other platforms.

This is a good thing! By using multiple platforms, I have a lot more tools to create more content, and a lot of potential to reach a a much wider audience.

For those of you who are interested, please subscribe to my Newsletter, feel free to connect with me on other platforms, and let me know what you think of my content!

Men's Insecurity With Our Naked Bodies

Posted by GreenSlugg Muse on Thursday, October 27, 2016,
A very needed article for men to read! This is an issue that I personally deal with a lot, and plan to talk about in my videos more often in the near future. But I wanted to share this with my fans who follow my blog. This article was defnitely written for men. Ladies have for the past few generations looked at the insecurity of men with a mix of humor, and confusion about what the problem is, not to mention an eye roll. Christian men for generations have had no problem with male-male nudit...

An Atheist and a Dictionary

Posted by GreenSlugg Muse on Friday, October 21, 2016,
I've got an Atheist friend who thinks that the early Christians stole their beliefs from the Aztecs.

He asked me to look up the definition of insanity... Well I finally did, but it wasn't the best picture he'd ever posed for.

White People - Documentary Review

Posted by GreenSlugg Muse on Thursday, October 20, 2016,
A really well-put-together documentary. I disagreed with a lot of the earlier stuff, but I stuck it through, and really got a lot out of it. A refreshing change from the typical racist dribble coming from MTV. The guy was really open to hearing other people, and giving everyone a voice to be heard.

I am skeptical of some of the stats, but I don't sense any foul-play. I know that most people don't have the type of data analysis skills that people with a science background are trained to have.

SJWs and Race

Posted by GreenSlugg Muse on Wednesday, October 19, 2016,

I came across this today:

SJWs when minority cultures are ignored: "Marginalization!"

SJWs when minority cultures are celebrated: "Cultural appropriation!"

SJWs when white people move out of the city: "White flight!"

SJWs when white people move back into the city: "Gentrification!"

SJWs when you have no minority friends: "Segregation!"

SJWs when you have minority friends: "Tokenism!"

When People Will Not Be Convinced

Posted by GreenSlugg Muse on Monday, October 17, 2016,
I came across an Atheist who is a friend of the family who has been insisting on some very strange ideas that he thinks are "facts". Among these are the claim that Jesus was copied from Horus, that Jesus never existed, and that the books of the New Testament were written sometimes 300 years after the time of Christ.

I've shown him plenty of scholarly work to the contrary, and explained to him that almost no historian takes any of these claims seriously. (There are maybe 2 or 3 historians who a...

Amazing refutation of a common atheist argument

Posted by GreenSlugg Muse on Saturday, October 8, 2016,

I don't know who the Mark Moore person is who made this quote originally, but I am very grateful. It is well spoken, and well reasoned, and it really gets to the heart of the matter.

Amazing refutation of a common atheist argument:

"What if "the one I happened to be raised in as a child" is the largest faith on earth? And it's the largest for a reason, and the competitors are not that close? This meme supposes that it is reasonable to believe that the Greek Gods or Pokemon or whatever that thin...

Police Officer Drives Man 100 Miles to Attend Sister's Funeral

Posted by GreenSlugg Muse on Saturday, October 8, 2016,
Please remember this next time someone, like those who lead Black Lives Matter, try to tell you that all police are evil, especially all white police officers.

Police are people. There are a few bad cops, but most are good, and they want to help our communities. To call for their death is evil, and does absolutely nothing to help black folks.
