Science, Reason, Faith

When I first started this website, my blog and my Newsletter were one and the same. I used this section of my website to write articles, and to share thoughts and content with my fans.

Now that GreenSlugg has grown, I still plan to write a few blog posts here and there as I go, but overall this blog page will be taking a backseat to my Email Newsletter, Medium Profile and other platforms.

This is a good thing! By using multiple platforms, I have a lot more tools to create more content, and a lot of potential to reach a a much wider audience.

For those of you who are interested, please subscribe to my Newsletter, feel free to connect with me on other platforms, and let me know what you think of my content!

Christian Movies - Our Moral Obligation To Watch Cause It's "Christian"

Posted by GreenSlugg Muse on Friday, July 7, 2017
I am going to go out on a limb and say I don't want to watch a movie *just* because it's "Christian". That alone is not enough for me anymore. Sure I'll watch a Christian movie understanding that the budget isn't going to be as big, but I don't want to watch one out of obligation.

The two greatest fantasy writers of all time: Christians

Tons of great music, both modern and classical: Made by Christians

Some of the new emerging indie sci-fi: Christian, without compromising on being a good story!

If Christians can do all of these amazing things in all areas of the arts, I'm going to expect that in the area of movies and television that over the next few years they step it up.

Is it a more expensive medium? Yes! And I expect it to lag behind somewhat, but after Narnia and LOTR/The Hobbit, I expect more than CGI made by a third grader named Jimmie and a script by his 11 year old brother - also named Jimmie.
