Science, Reason, Faith

UPDATE!!!

When I first started this website, my blog and my Newsletter were one and the same. I used this section of my website to write articles, and to share thoughts and content with my fans.

Now that GreenSlugg has grown, I still plan to write a few blog posts here and there as I go, but overall this blog page will be taking a backseat to my Email Newsletter, Medium Profile and other platforms.

This is a good thing! By using multiple platforms, I have a lot more tools to create more content, and a lot of potential to reach a a much wider audience.

For those of you who are interested, please subscribe to my Newsletter, feel free to connect with me on other platforms, and let me know what you think of my content!

Dovetail

To dovetail off of my last post. We need to come together with respect, reason, and logic. Liberals and Conservatives need to stop acting like children. The name-calling and the gloating need to stop.

We need to start talking about the issues logically, and with cool heads.

"I believe that raising minimum wage will help poor people." - How do you know that to be true, what facts do you have to back that up?

"Women only make 70 cents for every dollar that a man makes for the exact same work." - Where do you get your information? Can you cite any economists who agree with you?

"I believe that gun rights are good/bad for America." - Do you have any proof for said claim?

"Everyone who disagrees with me is a hateful bigot!" - no, ...no they are not. While we can find hateful people in the world, you need to take the log out of your own eye. -You are living in an echo chamber where you are only hearing your own views, and you aren't actually taking the time to hear the views of those who will challenge your closely-held opinions.

Too many people are content with inbred views reverberating in their pseudo-intellectual echo chambers, and this is a horrible tragedy in an era where we have virtually unlimited access to the wealth of knowledge and writing that has been produced by human beings throughout the centuries.
